What a debut in Queens.
Jonah Tong took the mound for the first time in his MLB career, and wow… This kid is special. Friday night we got a glimpse of his potential, flashing nasty stuff with a delivery that looks a lot like Giants legend Tim Lincecum. The Mets’ young arms are looking fantastic, and they could play a huge role down the stretch.
Check out some of Tong’s stuff here, we might be seeing this kid for years to come:
Out in Boston, we were spoiled with one of the best pitcher vs. hitter matchups you can ask for: Paul Skenes facing Roman Anthony.
The clip title gives it away, but my goodness Roman Anthony looks every bit like the top prospect. Not many guys catch Skenes the way he did, and it’s a reminder of how fun these head-to-head battles are when they pop up across the league.
Enjoy your Saturday! I’ve got my fantasy football draft tonight and, like every year, I’m completely lost. Send me a sleeper or must-have pick… I need all the help I can get!!
