Yankees 11, Angels 10 — Judge, Grisham power wild Bronx comeback
The Yankees snapped their skid in dramatic fashion Monday night, storming back twice before walking off the Angels 11-10 in a chaotic slugfest at Yankee Stadium. Aaron Judge launched two home runs, Trent Grisham crushed a pair of huge homers off the bench, and José Caballero scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the ninth.
New York jumped out early behind Judge’s 456-foot two-run blast and Caballero’s first homer of the season, but the Angels kept answering. Mike Trout tied it with a three-run homer in the sixth, then put Los Angeles ahead again with another two-run shot in the eighth.
The Yankees still had one more rally in them. Grisham’s two-run homer in the ninth erased a 10-8 deficit, then Caballero doubled, stole third, and raced home on Jordan Romano’s wild pitch to complete one of New York’s wildest wins of the season.

Pirates 16, Nationals 5 — Pirates drop 10-run inning and run away with it
The Pirates blew this game wide open with a massive sixth inning, turning a close game into a complete rout over the Nationals.
After building an early lead, Pittsburgh put the game out of reach with a 10-run explosion in the sixth. Bryan Reynolds cleared the bases with a triple, Ryan O'Hearn followed with an RBI double, and later in the inning Brandon Lowe crushed a three-run homer to cap it off.
That offensive outburst was more than enough for Paul Skenes, who was in control all night. He allowed just one hit and one run across six innings while striking out six.
The Nationals got on the board early with a solo homer from CJ Abrams, and added a couple late runs, but never really threatened once the sixth inning got out of hand.

Phillies 13, Cubs 7 — Schwarber powers Phillies in offensive breakout
The Phillies got the bats going early and never really let up, riding a big night from Kyle Schwarber to a convincing win over the Cubs.

It wasn’t just Schwarber either. Brandon Marsh and J.T. Realmuto both had big nights at the plate, and the lineup kept applying pressure with traffic on the bases all game long.
The Cubs made some noise, including a two-run homer from Dansby Swanson, but couldn’t keep up once the Phillies offense got rolling.
