The Rockies stayed hot at Coors Field, finishing off a sweep of the Astros with a dominant all-around performance.
After jumping out early on an RBI single from Tyler Freeman, Colorado broke the game open in the second with a five-run inning fueled by timely hitting, walks, and aggressive baserunning.
From there, they never looked back. Hunter Goodman added a solo homer in the fourth, and the offense continued to pile on behind a balanced attack.
On the mound, Michael Lorenzen bounced back in a big way, allowing just one run over 5.2 innings after a rough debut. The bullpen slammed the door, with Zach Agnos covering the final 3.1 innings and allowing just one hit.
It was a statement series for the Rockies, who controlled the game from start to finish.

Blue Jays 4, Dodgers 3 — Toronto scraps together late comeback to snap skid
The Blue Jays finally looked like themselves again, grinding out a messy but much-needed win over the Dodgers.
They trailed late after Will Smith gave Los Angeles a 3-1 lead in the seventh, but things flipped quickly. George Springer sparked the rally with an RBI double, and Daulton Varsho followed it up with a game-tying single to bring things even.
In the eighth, it was pure chaos baseball. Davis Schneider worked his way on, Andrés Giménez moved him over, then took second while a throwing error let Schneider come home with the go-ahead run.
On the mound, Dylan Cease kept them in it early with 8 strikeouts over five innings, and the bullpen held firm late to lock it down.

The Giants leaned on timely power and strong pitching to lock down a clean win over the Phillies and take the series.
It stayed scoreless early with both sides trading zeros, but everything changed in the sixth. After traffic built on the bases, Rafael Devers crushed a three-run shot to break it open and give San Francisco full control.
They added on late with some help from a defensive mistake, and Devers came through again with an RBI single to cap off a four-RBI day.
On the mound, Tyler Mahle set the tone with 5.2 scoreless innings, and the bullpen finished it off to complete the shutout.
A much-needed series win for the Giants, who finally put together a complete performance.
