Editor’s Note: Wednesday delivered yet another loaded slate of action and two moments stood out above the rest for me.

First, Jac Caglianone hit an absolute tank. I have once again watched this homerun about 50 times in a row. The last time I saw a ball go that far to dead center at the K it was Trevor Bauer launching it from the mound. The kid’s got crazy power, and honestly, the Royals have to be thrilled with what they’re seeing. His potential is sky high.

Second, let’s talk Jazz Chisholm Jr. — like him or not, the guy’s a star. There’s been chatter around whether he deserved his All-Star nod, but here’s the truth: the ASG and MLB needs players like Jazz. He’s electric, unpredictable, and always in the middle of something. That kind of presence? I’ll take that on my team every day of the week.

Let’s all have a great Thursday and thanks for reading First Pitch.
