Monday’s full MLB recap: Brewers stay red-hot with their 11th straight win, while the Phillies beat the Red Sox in one of the strangest walk-offs you’ll ever see. Ohtani goes deep again, and James Outman robs Carlos Correa at the wall to seal a Dodgers thriller.

⚾ Headlines Around the League
Milwaukee wins 11th straight, takes over MLB’s best record
Phillies 3, Red Sox 2 (F/10) — Sosa wins it on rare walk-off catcher’s interference
Blue Jays 4, Yankees 1 — Gausman silences Yankees as Jays win 11th straight at home
Ohtani homers, Outman saves the day in wild LA win
Mets 7, Angels 5 — Alvarez returns with spark as Mets rally late
Perez Powers Kansas City with Two-Homer Night
Monday’s games did not disappoint. The Brewers just keep rolling! That’s 11 straight wins now. They are must watch while this streak is going on.
We also had an absolutely wild finish in the Red Sox–Phillies game, which ended on a catcher’s interference that allowed the winning run to come home. You don’t see that every day.
But the best thing I saw on Monday came from the Twins–Dodgers game. In a tense 9th inning, James Outman made one of the most clutch, timely catches of the season. Carlos Correa, a known Dodgers villain, came about a foot away from tying the game with a homerun. Outman was already playing deep in a no doubles shift and he was able to reach up and pull it back. Just an awesome ending in what was already a great game. And anytime Ohtani is doing his thing on the mound and at the plate, it’s must-watch stuff.
Check out full highlights here for the Twins/Dodgers as well as the crazy ending in Philly.
Carlos Correa was inches away from silencing the booing Dodgers crowd, but James Outman reeled it in for the final out

Edmundo Sosa’s checked swing in the 10th clipped the catcher’s mitt, giving the Phillies an improbable walk-off win — their first by catcher’s interference in over 50 years — and snapping a recent skid with help from Zack Wheeler’s dominant outing.
🔑 Key Moments
Jarren Duran led off the game with a solo homer to left, his 9th of the year, putting Boston up early
The Phillies responded in the 4th — Nick Castellanos tied it with an RBI single and J.T. Realmuto followed with a go-ahead knock
Trevor Story knotted it back up in the 6th with an RBI single to score Alex Bregman, who had doubled earlier in the inning
Zack Wheeler was electric, striking out 10 over 6 innings of two-run ball to keep the game even
In the 10th, Max Lazar stranded the Red Sox’s ghost runner with two huge strikeouts to preserve the tie
The bottom half unraveled for Boston — a wild pitch advanced runners, and after a pair of walks loaded the bases, Sosa ended it by clipping Carlos Narváez’s glove mid-swing. Replay review confirmed the catcher’s interference, and the Phillies walked it off in bizarre fashion

Francisco Alvarez made his presence felt immediately in his return to the big leagues, helping power a late comeback as the Mets rallied to beat the Angels 7-5 on Monday at Citi Field. Juan Soto tied it with a clutch knock in the seventh before Alvarez’s eighth-inning double set the table for the go-ahead run.
🔑 Key Moments
Logan O’Hoppe opened the scoring for the Angels with a solo homer in the second — the only long ball of the game for L.A.
The Angels stretched their lead to 3-0 in the third as Taylor Ward laced a two-run double, aided by a throwing error to let him reach third.
Brett Baty got the Mets on the board in the fourth with a two-run blast to center, cutting the deficit to 4-2.
After the Angels added a fifth run, the Mets stormed back in the seventh — Francisco Lindor drove in one with a forceout and Juan Soto followed with a game-tying two-run single.
In the eighth, Baty walked, and Francisco Alvarez doubled to put runners on second and third. Moments later, Ronny Mauricio reached on a fielder’s choice and a throwing error allowed Baty to score the go-ahead run.
