MLB recap: Patrick Bailey stuns Phillies with chaotic walk off homerun, Blue Jays go for 10 in a row, and Misiorowski carves up the Dodgers.

⚾ Headlines Around the League

Brewers 3, Dodgers 1 — Misiorowski Blows Away Dodgers in Statement Win
Padres 1, Diamondbacks 0 — Arraez’s Blast and Two Stunning Robberies Seal Series Opener

Editor’s Note: As a lifelong Giants fan, I’ve experienced plenty of memorable moments — but what Patrick Bailey did on Tuesday night might be in a league of its own.
With the offense looking flat most of the game, Bailey stepped up and delivered an absolutely insane, three-run, walk-off inside-the-park home run.
This wasn’t just a comeback win, it was a moment that instantly etched itself into Giants lore. And if you’re not familiar with the Giants broadcast crew, you’re missing out. Kruk, Kuip, Jon Miller, and Dave Flemming are absolute legends. I highly recommend checking out Flemming’s radio call of the walk-off — it’s a must-watch linked here:
"This one iiiiisssss.... OFF THE THE TOP OF THE WALL ... AND IT RICOCHETS! AND IT'S ROLLING ON THE WARNING TRACK ... "
ALL-TIMER of a Dave Flemming call on THE Sports Leader.

I’ve probably watched this at least 50 times and I’m sure my neighbors are tired of listening to Flemming scream on full blast, but as they say around here - Giants Baseball, Nothing Like It!

Patrick Bailey's #walkoff inside-the-park home run punctuates an incredible 9th-inning comeback for the @SFGiants!

Patrick Bailey delivered one of the most thrilling finishes of the season, smashing a walk-off, inside-the-park three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Giants to a 4–3 win over the Phillies. Kyle Schwarber’s two-run blast in the 7th had given Philadelphia the lead, but San Francisco rallied late to take the series.
🔑 Key Moments
Dominic Smith put the Giants on the board early with a second-inning RBI single to score Mike Yastrzemski
Otto Kemp tied it with an RBI double in the 6th, followed by Schwarber’s two-run homer into McCovey Cove in the 7th to put the Phillies up 3–1
In the 9th, Casey Schmitt led off with a double and Wilmer Flores followed with a single to put the tying run aboard
Bailey then drilled a 103.4 mph line drive off the right-center wall that caromed away from the outfielders, allowing him to circle the bases and score standing for a walk-off inside-the-park home run
It was the first inside-the-park walk-off homer in MLB since 2016, and the first by a Giant since Ángel Pagán in 2013

Simply sensational stuff from Jacob Misiorowski! 👏

In just his fifth big-league start, Jacob Misiorowski outdueled Clayton Kershaw, struck out 12, and lit up the radar gun with a 101.6 mph heater as the Brewers topped the Dodgers 3–1 Tuesday in Milwaukee.
🔑 Key Moments
Shohei Ohtani opened the game with a 431-foot leadoff homer to center, but that would be the only damage the Dodgers could muster against Misiorowski.
After the homer, Misiorowski struck out 12 of the next 16 hitters — including Ohtani in their rematch — relying more on his wicked curveball and slider than his triple-digit fastball.
Andrew Vaughn and Isaac Collins delivered RBI singles in the 4th as Milwaukee answered back and took a 2–1 lead.
In the 6th, with runners on second and third and one out, Andruw Monasterio made a clutch backhand play at third to nail Ohtani at the plate and preserve the lead.
Sal Frelick gave the Brewers insurance in the 8th with a solo blast to right-center, his 7th of the year.
Jared Koenig, Abner Uribe, and Trevor Megill closed it out with three hitless innings, locking in the win and a series split.

The Padres won a wild pitcher’s duel Tuesday night behind a solo homer from Luis Arraez and two jaw-dropping home run robberies by Jackson Merrill and Fernando Tatis Jr., blanking the D-backs 1–0 at Petco Park.
🔑 Key Moments
Corbin Carroll nearly put Arizona on the board in the 5th with a deep drive to center, but Jackson Merrill made a leaping grab at the wall — his second home run robbery in nine days.
In the 8th, Josh Naylor crushed a fly ball to right that looked destined to tie the game, but Fernando Tatis Jr. timed his jump perfectly and yanked it back from the seats to preserve the shutout.
The game’s only run came in the 7th when Luis Arraez led off with a solo homer to right, his fifth of the season, off Merrill Kelly.
Nick Pivetta was stellar over 5.2 innings, striking out 7 and stranding the bases loaded in the 4th.
Adrian Morejon escaped a second bases-loaded jam in the 7th with a clutch strikeout of Ketel Marte, and Robert Suarez nailed down the ninth for his 22nd save.

Ronny Mauricio got the Mets on the board earlier with a solo shot in the 6th — his fourth homer of the year.
Brandon Nimmo added an RBI double to briefly give New York a 2–1 lead.
After a five-run Orioles outburst in the 6th and a solo homer from Jackson Holliday in the 7th, the Mets bullpen held strong.

A brief rain delay gave the Yankees time to reset — and once the tarp came off, their bats went to work. Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, and Austin Wells all homered as New York crushed the Mariners 10–3 in the Bronx.
🔑 Key Moments
Oswald Peraza broke a scoreless tie in the 5th with an RBI infield single that scored Paul Goldschmidt.
In the 6th, Stanton crushed a 401-foot three-run shot to right-center, opening the floodgates for the Yankees’ offense.
Moments later, Wells followed with a two-run homer — his 14th of the year — to make it 6–0.
Judge added his 34th homer of the season in the 7th, a solo shot to the short porch in right.
Rookie Will Warren bounced back from his last outing with 5.2 scoreless innings, scattering four hits and striking out four.

🔑 Key Moments

The Guardians chased Hunter Brown with six runs over six innings — his worst start of the season — including Brayan Rocchio’s first homer of the year in the 4th.
Houston clawed back from a 6–1 deficit, tying the game in the 8th when Jose Altuve delivered a two-out RBI single to score Taylor Trammell.
Jakob Junis froze Zack Short with a called third strike in the 9th to send the game to extras.
After an intentional walk to Ramírez and a full-count walk to Carlos Santana, Martínez launched a 1–1 pitch to left for the first grand slam of his MLB career, giving Cleveland a four-run cushion.
