Everything you need from yesterday’s wildest games — record chases, rookies dueling, and a near no-hitter that got so close.

Good Morning Everyone!
Another great day, another full slate of games (and yep… another Giants loss to the Marlins).
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Ryan, the founder of First Pitch. I started this newsletter to connect with fellow baseball fans in a real way. I try to keep things quick and easy to read while also sharing what I loved from yesterday’s action. Or, like today, I might just vent about the Giants and how frustrating Doval and Matt Williams have been lately.
Got feedback? Ideas? I'm always open to ways to make First Pitch better for you. Feel free to reply here or hit us up on Twitter/X. My DMs are always open, even if you just need to vent about your team. Some of your messages crack me up 😆 so don’t be surprised if I start anonymously sharing the best ones.
Thanks for being part of this community. If you’re enjoying First Pitch, help it grow by sharing it with a friend or sharing our posts on social. ✌️
