Icon Rangers 8, Mets 3 — deGrom’s emotional Citi Field return powers Texas’ 5th straight win

Icon Brewers 8, Cardinals 2 — Priester wins 12th straight as Crew hits 90 wins

My oh my! The Giants pulled off another massive win in spectacular fashion. Hours after the Mets dropped their seventh straight, San Francisco stepped onto the field against arguably the best team in baseball, facing their ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto. What followed was an instant classic, especially if you’re a fan of the Dodgers-Giants rivalry. The Giants won and now are .5 GB of a Wild Card Spot. What a playoff run. Check out the full highlights here:

The most impressive moments? First, Andy Pages unleashed a rocket to gun down Grant McCray, saving the winning run.

Then in the 10th, McCray flipped the script — firing an absolute dart of his own to cut down the Dodgers’ go-ahead run. Pure drama on both sides. What a game. October can’t get here fast enough.

We also had a gem at Fenway Park, where Luis Gil delivered a fantastic outing to give the Yankees the series opener. With just a couple weeks left in the season, every game is magnified, and this one carried extra weight.

Enjoy the weekend, hope everyone has a great one!
